Katoomba

The last couple weeks have been fairly chill working at this low key hostel in Wollongong, going to the beach and obviously keeping up with my physical activity. It has been really cool finding new ways to stay in shape while travelling. Running in the beach, using outdoor facilities to do some circuit training, hiking and bouldering at the climbing gym.
I was having a great time in the gong and had great experience working at the hostel for three weeks but I woke up one day and felt like I needed a change so I packed my stuff got on a train and headed off to katoomba in the blue mountains. I came to a hostel called flying fox which lets ya pitch your tent in the back which instantly caught my attention. After arriving and pitching my tent I met a bunch of amazing like minded people right away. Lots of hikers and climbers who are very outgoing and super chilled out. It's only been two days since I got here but I already feel at home and have met some people that I will keep in touch with throughout my travels to go on many adventures!
There was a really good lesson I learnt the last couple weeks. Sometimes in the gong I felt I wasn't living up to my potential and surrounded by enough energy and positivity to keep me going. Once I felt that way I followed my heart to try something new. If that didn't work I would keep moving until I was satisfied. The lesson: keep striving and achieving to not only do better for yourself but to put yourself in situations to be surrounded by the energy and positivity from others. Positivity is very contagious and can make your life much more enjoyable and happy:) keep spreading the joy my friends. Love :)
